Description:

Demand Response services: Door-to-door service for Carroll County residents
traveling within the county. Based on availability, it runs Monday through Friday.
All fares are based on 5 mile increments. Advanced reservation is required; no same
day transportation.
TrailBlazer: Westminster route operates on Saturdays from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. All
fares must be paid at the time of boarding the vehicle and the exact fare is required.
Fares may be paid by cash. Routes are Taneytown to Westminster; Eldersburg to
Westminster; route around Westminster and Eldersburg. Serves all ages
Veteran Shuttle service: The VA Shuttle services veterans in Carroll County, and must
be registered for the program through the Bureau of Aging.

The Partnership for a Healthier Carroll County, Inc., an affiliate of Carroll Hospital and the Carroll County Health Department, is a private nonprofit organization working to improve health by connecting people, inspiring action, and strengthening community.

Our organization is the coordinating hub that connects agencies and individuals in pursuit of a healthier community. It is often said that collaboration by many is what makes our community like no other. The Partnership is proud to be part of this ongoing tradition of teamwork and collaboration.

  • Inspire leadership,
  • Track emerging health issues,
  • Influence policies that impact health,
  • Oversee community health assessments, and
  • Monitor health data to regularly “check the pulse” of our community.
